The Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment offer a four-credit Co-operative Education program to high school students. The program will train students during the second semester drawing from all high schools in the Peterborough area. All applicants for this program must meet the following prerequisites: a) Be 17 years of age by July 1, 2017 b) Be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant c) Have no outstanding commitments to the legal system, and d) Have obtained at least 15 high school credits. Students must write an aptitude test and have an interview. Students must also complete a medical examination and physical fitness testing. NOTE: This program is available subject to funding by the Department of National Defence.
